Engineers are the unsung heroes of history. They are behind the solutions to some of the world’s most complex and urgent problems. For years engineers where thought to be number crunchers, managed by business people who didn’t really understand the depth and importance of their activities, and how crucial they were for an organization’s success.
Needless to say, young creative people y search of a comfortable life weren’t exactly flocking into Engineering School. It didn’t have the allure of medicine o law.
Fast forward a few years, and that mistaken perception started to shift, historical moments like the race to get to the moon, the advent of computers, the internet, and the search of sustainability have helped in raising the popularity of engineering.
The world needs more engineers though, it needs creative problem solvers, people who can think outside the box, that can work with quantitative and qualitative information, and tackle challenges head-on. A Bachelor of Engineering will open doors everywhere, while also giving you a chance to work along sides with talented people just as yourself. But perhaps more importantly, it will give you a chance to have an impact in the world, giving you the chance to effectively leave your mark.
